Moku-Hanga Print Process:
Printed by handโevery copy of each print touches the artist's hand many times. For each color, a hand carved woodblock is carefully dampened and pigmented and then registered and printed by hand by rubbing the back of the print with a printing tool called a baren. This process is repeated for each print and then for every different color block carved for the image; and sometimes the same block is printed multiple times to achieve specific affects or to deepen the color. This piece is finished with golden lettering that reads: "His legacy wasn't to be his grand accomplishments, rather, the example he set."

Our shipping costsย are based on item weights and range from $5-$20 for most orders. Shipping costs are higher forย larger pieces of artwork due to the package dimensions and necessary insurance coverage.ย
Orders that contain only jewelry items will ship for free and jewelry items in any order do not count toward the shipping cost calculations.
